Javed Ali records an emotional song for Vishal Gaikwad's Hindi movie APIK

 

Javed Ali is popular for his Serene voice, hence always considered as the first choice of directors and music directors for soothing and calming songs. Recently, he recorded an emotional song for director Vishal Gaikwad's Hindi film APIK. Javed Ali said that “I was briefed about the subject of the film. 

And I strongly feel producer Prafulla Kharkar and director Vishal Gaikwad will make a meaningful film that will entertain the audience and will also give an important message. The song I recorded is a very beautiful emotional song which is about the relationship between father and son”

The music of the film is made by Nikhil Khoparde. A music composer, producer and arranger who has worked on many hit songs like Sheila ki Jawani, Aal izz well, Ooh lala ooh lala, Radha teri chuniri to name a few. He is also the composer for multiple broad way musical successes around the world like Jaan-e-jigar, balle balle, zangoora. Nikhil Khoparde said Javed Ali was his first choice for the song. He also said that it gives immense satisfaction to work with a director with vision. With APIK Nikhil Khoparde promises to bring a new sound of music.

APIK is based on the real-life story of an America based Indian boy. The film will present to the audience a story of a platonic relationship between a father and the son. The film is a pure entertainer with great social message. The film will be shot in US and in the mountain ranges of Himalayas.

At the recording, director Vishal Gaikwad said that the youth is the biggest power in our country and in the world that could shape the society. APIK will attract the youth to real values of honesty, minimalism, non-violence. It will take them away from the evils like drugs, pornography and violence. The film promises a never before hero who is a modern sage. A stylish saint who drives a sportscar.

The film is being produced under the banner AAKP, by Prafulla Kharkar and Shivani Kharkar. The film is written and directed by Vishal Gaikwad. With Nikhil Khoparde as the music director, the film also has surprise international collaborations. The film will be shot in India and the US.  The names of the main cast have not been announced yet.
